We sometimes forget to let our teachers know how much we appreciate them for taking care of our precious little ones. Teachers of course have played a significant role in shaping who we are today too.

Below are some inspirational quotes for teachers that can be used in greeting cards, gifts or in speeches to let our teachers know how much they mean to us.

1. Once children learn how to learn, nothing is going to narrow their mind. The essence of teaching is to make learning contagious, to have one idea spark another.
Marva Collins

5. A teacher who is attempting to teach without inspiring the pupil with a desire to learn is hammering on cold iron.
Horace Mann

6. Teaching is not a lost art,
but the regard for it is a lost tradition.

8. He that teaches us anything which we knew not
before is undoubtedly to be reverenced as a master.

instructed rather than rich,
for the hopes of the instructed are better
than the wealth of the ignorant.
